Summer 2024 Open/College/U23 Competitive Team Registration

Description

The U23/Open program is for athletes who have completed a year of college or are 20+ years old. Our racing team focuses on sweep rowing, while giving athletes opportunities to try their hand at sculling and small boats based on interest.

Practice Schedules:

Competitive Program:

June 10 – August 8th (6+ practices a week)

• Monday – Friday, 6:00-8:00 AM & 6:30-8:00 pm – Athletes looking to compete at the highest level should expect to attend two practices a day several days a week.
• Saturday 8:00-10:30 am (Saturday practice times will be determined by individual program coaches)

Race Schedule

• • June 28-July 1- Independence Day Regatta (Philadelphia, PA)
  • July 28-Aug 4 –  Canadian Henley (St. Catherines, Ontario)

  **Note that the team is not traveling to Oklahoma for the RowFest (previously US Nationals) this year.

  *there will be an additional charge for race and travel fees .  This will be billed based on participation. You can expect Each regatta will have approximately $100 in entry fees and trailering, with hotels and transportation optionally available for the Open program at an additional cost.

What is included in the price?

• $550 – This covers coaching and equipment related fees for the summer.  Regatta registration, transportation, and lodging will be billed based on each athlete’s attendance at the regattas.  

Refund Policy

Registration fees paid to TBC Racing can be refunded in full, minus a processing fee, until your athlete attends their second practice. A 50% refund is available if cancellation occurs within 15 days after of the start date of the season.
