Spring 2025 Racing Team Package

TBC Racing is proud to welcome youth athletes from a variety of schools across the Washington DC metro area. We are honored to provide a supportive community where athletes can build meaningful connections and push each other to achieve their goals with peers they might not have otherwise met. Together, they learn the value of hard work, develop their strength and technique, and grow as individuals, all while having a lot of fun along the way.

The spring season at TBC Racing is always an exciting time. Our athletes have the opportunity to compete against some of the best crews in the country, providing invaluable experience at every level of competition. Racing beyond our local area not only elevates the level of competition but also broadens our athletes’ exposure and deepens their understanding and appreciation of the sport.

Who is Eligible for the Racing Team? Anyone who has previously rowed competitively, or has completed a Learn to Row season is eligible for the Racing Team. We race in age and experience classifications. There are U15, U16, U17, U19 and Novice events at the regattas we attend.  

Practice Schedules:
February 18, 2025 – May 14, 2025 (Note that those athletes who qualify for US Nationals will have an extended season).
Monday-Friday, 4:00-6:30 pm
Saturday, 8-10:30 am
@Thompson’s Boat Center

Race Schedule:
Transportation, hotels when needed and race fees are covered by the attached Regatta Fee item for all regattas except San Diego and Sarasota. Those will be priced and billed to athletes selected/qualified.

March 26-30, 2025 – San Diego Crew Classic – *Select crews (San Diego, CA)
April 5, 2025 – Steve Neczyporpor Regatta (Camden, NJ)
April 13, 2025 – GW Invite Dual (Washington, DC)
April 25-27, 2025 – Saratoga Invitational (Saratoga, NY)
May 10-11, 2025 – Mid Atlantic Youth Championships (Mercer, NJ)
June 12-15, 2025 – USRowing Youth National Championship (Sarasota, FL) (qualification required)
