Give your athlete a summer of discovery, confidence, and fun on the water.

TBC Racing’s Summer Rowing Camp introduces athletes to the excitement of rowing in a supportive, hands-on environment. Perfect for athletes looking to try something new, build foundational skills, and experience the teamwork and effort that make rowing such a unique sport.

Each day combines time on the Potomac with age-appropriate fitness and technical instruction. Athletes learn the essentials — from boat handling and rowing technique to teamwork and training habits — while enjoying a relaxed summer atmosphere that makes trying something new feel easy and enjoyable.

In addition to on the water work, we’re excited to support the campers with air conditioning and indoor training space in our new year-round TBC Racing Training Center, located at 2600 Virginia Avenue in the iconic historic Watergate building. This fully equipped, state-of-the-art facility provides our athletes with a dedicated space for strength training, erging, team meetings, and recovery throughout the entire year. More than just a training space, the new center gives TBC Racing a true home—supporting athlete development, fostering community, and allowing us to continue building excellence on and off the water.

Age & Experience

  • Ages: 12 years and older

The camp is recommended for rising 7th graders through rising 9th graders. All campers must be 12 years old before the start of camp.

  • Experience level
We expect campers to have very little experience. This is a learn-to-row camp. If your camper has completed a season long (Spring or Fall) program in the past, our competitive programs are probably a better fit.

Do not miss out on this experience!
