Discover Rowing is the perfect introduction to the sport of rowing for middle school athletes with no rowing experience or those who want to stick with a 3-day per week program. Designed to be fun, welcoming, and confidence-building, this program introduces athletes to the fundamentals of rowing in a supportive team environment while developing fitness, coordination, and a love for the sport.

Meeting three days a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:00–6:30 PM, athletes will learn the basics of rowing technique both on land and on the water, along with proper equipment handling, teamwork, and water safety. Practices blend skill instruction, age-appropriate conditioning, and games that keep athletes engaged while building strength, endurance, and discipline.

Discover Rowing emphasizes learning, effort, and enjoyment over competition, making it ideal for athletes who are curious about rowing and want to try something new. By the end of the session, participants will have a strong foundation in rowing fundamentals, increased confidence, and the opportunity to continue into our competitive or developmental programs.

No experience required—just a willingness to learn, work hard, and have fun on the water.
