Age Groups

Every age group has a dedicated coaching staff. Each has a focus appropriate for their physical abilities and maturity level. We focus on grouping athletes with their age group to develop and field the strongest all around team at the National Championships.

U15/U16

For athletes under 16 years old, this program focuses on fundamentals, building the framework for training and technique that will carry these young athletes into their future.

U17

For athletes under 17 years old, this group starts to tap into their potential, building strength and endurance and learning to bring consistency and maturity to their performance.

U19

For athletes under 19 years old, this age group trains and races at the highest levels against the fastest crews in the country building to success at the National Championship and preparation for college rowing.

  • Head of the Schuylkill

    October, Philadelphia, PA

    The Head of the Schuylkill Regatta is one of the largest and most festive fall rowing events in the U.S., held annually on Philadelphia’s historic Schuylkill River.

  • San Diego Crew Classic

    March, San Diego, CA

    The San Diego Crew Classic is an annual spring rowing regatta held on Mission Bay in San Diego, California, featuring sprint races for collegiate, junior, masters, and para-athletes, and is recognized as the premier spring rowing event in the United States.

  • USRowing Mid Atlantic Championships

    May, Mercer, NJ

    The USRowing Mid-Atlantic Youth Championships is an annual sprint regatta held at Mercer Lake in West Windsor, New Jersey, featuring over 500 entries from regional clubs, offering youth athletes the opportunity to qualify for the USRowing Youth National Championships. 

  • Kings Crowne

    April, Overpeck Park, NJ

    The King’s Crown Rowing Association (KCRA) Regatta is an annual junior rowing event held at Overpeck Lake in Leonia, New Jersey, featuring men’s and women’s 1st, 2nd, and 3rd varsity eight-oared shell races, with approximately 650 rowers and over 50 races across the weekend.

    The Canadian Henley Royal Regatta is an annual premier rowing event in St. Catharines, Ontario, attracting top Canadian and international crews to compete over a 2,000-meter course.
